Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, what each item is for, and how to control it. The short version: sign-in and security need cookies, a few remember your preferences, and we run no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all.
This applies to ContractorX and to every site and product we operate under it: contractorx.co, rooferx.com (RooferX), solarsalesx.com (SolarSalesX), and tradesmenx.com (TradesmenX). RooferX, SolarSalesX and TradesmenX are the ContractorX platform presented for a particular trade, not separate services. Where this page says ContractorX, the Services, or we, it means all of them.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Related technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. They let a site keep you signed in, remember a setting, or measure how the site performs.

Analytics
We measure basic traffic on contractorx.co, such as which pages are viewed and how the site performs, using a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not set advertising cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It is used to understand what is useful on the site, not to build a profile of you.
What we do not use
We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking on contractorx.co, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before setting those cookies.
Cookies from services you connect
When your company connects an outside account to the platform, or when a payment is processed, that provider may set its own cookies under its own policy. Those are outside our control, and their policies govern them.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block them, in its privacy or site-settings panel. You can also use a private window. Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in, because the Service cannot keep you authenticated without them. Blocking functional cookies is safe; the interface will simply forget your preferences.
